Good hair Days!
It has been 3 Weeks since I did the ”Big Chop” and I must say I am growing more and more in love with my natural hair and all its glory. One of the best decisions I’ve made and it is growing nicely, already 3/4 to 1 inch in some places! Crazy! I know right!? I am currently on a hair challenge that will end June 23rd, which will mark 9 months since my last relaxer. My challenge consists of gaining 1.5 inches, combating any dryness and retaining moisture using very few products. Natural hair care products can be very expensive and there is a lot of trial and error involved. The Virgo in me prefers to master it with few attempts and the least amount of money spent…so here goes!
My current products and regimine:
(I do not use any products that contain silicones.)
Shampoo every 2 wks
Deep condition w/ natural honey, evoo and Tresseme naturals conditioner weekly (no silicone formula).
Co wash weekly or as needed w/ Tresseme Naturals conditioner.
Wash and go with conditioner, evoo, Shea Moisture Deep Treatment masque (use as a leave in), Carols Daughter hair balm.
My hair feels so soft and moisturized with my current regimine. I think I’m getting the hang of this. Any suggestions or ideas you may have are greatly appreciated! I will be starting a blog related to natural hair care and my journey soon. It will be titled ”The Naked Truth”…stay tuned.
